About Dawn Puzzle

Dawn Puzzle is a small, independent puzzle site built around one idea: the morning page-turn. Every day at midnight US Eastern, a fresh set of puzzles dawns — quick enough for a coffee, sticky enough for a streak.

How it works

There is no backend. Each daily puzzle is computed on your device from the date itself, using a frozen, versioned algorithm — the same calculation every visitor runs, which is why answers and archives are always complete the moment a new day begins. Your streaks and best runs are stored in your own browser’s local storage; nothing about your play is sent anywhere.

Puzzles reset at midnight US Eastern Time (9 PM Pacific) — one clock for the whole site, so everyone shares the same puzzle day.

Editorial standards

• Original games only. Our games are our own implementations with our own data and wording. We never copy another game’s code, art, wording or assets.
• Honest answers. For third-party games we post an answer only after verifying it — an unconfirmed day says “not confirmed yet” instead of a guess. Song answers and other copyrighted material are reported as facts, never reproduced.
• Fan resources, not affiliates. We write about other games because people search for them; every guide page states plainly that we’re unofficial.
